Charles W. Benton, III, MAI, is a founding partner with MERIDIAN. He is responsible for providing real estate valuation and advisory services covering a wide variety of properties including office, medical, retail, industrial, special purpose, and subdivisions for lending institutions, governmental agencies, condemning authorities, and individual clients. Mr. Benton has fifteen years of diversified real estate valuation and consulting experience. Assignments have included all general property types and special purpose properties.

Mr. Benton earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1990 with a major in finance. In June of 2002, he earned the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Benton holds the Certified General Real Property Appraiser license in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia. He is also is a member of the Greater Tennessee Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and also serves as the General Admissions Chair.

Craig S. Huber, MAI, is a founding partner with Meridian. With the firm, he is responsible for providing real estate valuation and advisory services as well as business development and client management. With over fifteen years of commercial appraisal experience, Mr. Huber’s property specialties include most of the typical types of investment real estate as well as many unique property types such multi-use developments and residential subdivision analysis.

Mr. Huber earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee in 1988 with a concentration in finance and real estate. In 2001, he earned the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Huber holds the Certified General Real Property Appraiser license in the State of Tennessee. In addition, he is a Tennessee Real Estate Commission Affiliate Broker. Mr. Huber is a member of the Greater Tennessee Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, the National Association of Realtors, and the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors.
